Welcome to Stan Tutorial Services. Nowadays, a Bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement for people to land a job, so it is very competitive to get into or survive in the desired universities. Among other courses, mathematics, calculus, and statistics are several of the fundamental subjects for you to study. My goal is to help students improve their grade in these mathematical disciplines.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree at Simon Fraser University and Master of Science degree (Statistics) at University of Victoria. In addition, I have been tutoring for 8 years and was a Teaching Assistant at both SFU and UVic. My teaching style focuses on patience. I will be more than happy to explain and reiterate complex concepts to students if they encounter any difficulties in understanding the problems. I believe in every student's ability to excel at mathematics so long as they desire to learn more.
Currently, I provide tutorial services at Richmond and Vancouver locations. The lessons can be taken at your home or a convenient place for you. Also, I can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English to accommodate your language preference.
The following subject courses are avaiable now:
The following table summarizes the hourly rate per student. To benefit from lower group rates, I encourage you to form tutorial groups with one other student. For example, if you come with your friend for an Grade 12 one-hour session, the tutorial fee will be $28.00 for each of you.
Note: The minimum time span for each session at university level is 1.5 hours in length.
